Dato Mohamed Dahan Abdul Latiff

Dato’ Dahan Latiff received his education from the Royal Military College and later, the University of Malaya graduating with an Economics degree in 1970.

He worked with the government and a Government Linked Company (GLC) for the 12 years before becoming involved with the private sector for 6 years in property development and stockbroking. From 1989 to 2003, he pioneered a corporate and computerised system of zakat collection that has seen the Zakat Institution of Malaysia modernised.

Since 2003, he has been with various NGOs involved in educational, economic and social activities; the latest being the “1Malaysia” campaign which has been designed to unite Malaysian. In late 2010, he was involved in the International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) of the US State Department meeting university, NGO, business and government representatives on using entrepreneurship and innovation development in the USA as a model for developing countries.

He is involved with” Silicon Valley comes to Malaysia” program. He has been with Introspek Asia since June 2011 using his considerable experience to  link research services to his extensive organizational contacts.
